It was all a dream...During the 2008 United States Presidential Election, finely-tuned entrepreneur Benjamin Sherman had an idea to make creative condoms lampooning the campaigns of Barack Obama and John McCain. He sold them with the slogan, “Remember the election with your next erection.”
The love-making business took off! After selling over one million political condoms, Funny Condoms™ was launched in early 2012.
Working with everyone from individuals looking for funny gag gifts and memorable party favors, to collegiate organizations promoting events, parties, Rush Week, we developed safe sex and awareness campaigns for nonprofits as well as state and local governments.
Designed as marketing tools for clients in every industry–music, film, commercial, manufacturing–to create specialized giveaways to promote awareness of their brand, product, service, or event.
Funny Condoms™ was created by Benjamin Sherman, who is as smart an entrepreneur as they come. He has seen many opportunities come his way and he has grabbed them all. He believes that as a business owner, satisfaction comes not from financial gains but from the validation of an idea.
He was born in Manhattan to a wonderful mother and father. After a move to LA and attending college for business, he found a home in the cosmetics and beauty industry.
Where there's a whim, there’s a way.
The idea for the Obama condoms came to him on a whim, because, according to him, why not? It proved to be one of those opportunities that Benjamin Sherman ran with and turned into a successful business unto its own. Along with his brother, he began selling the condoms on the streets of NYC, and the product took off. The condoms were featured on major news outlets, talk shows and on the internet, turning the ‘Obama Condom’ into an overnight sensation.
With the help of his family, a passionate mentor, and his own ingenuity, Benjamin Sherman proved to the world that he is serious entrepreneur with a keen eye for opportunity.
